With the combination of a recon drone and a sentry gun, a Modern Warfare 2 player rains death from above using an ingenious exploit.

On December 14, 2022, the first major update to Modern Warfare 2 ‘s Season 01 Reloaded brought new operators, the Chimera weapon platform, the fan-favorite maps Gunhouse and Shipment, and a slew of other improvements. Infinity Ward’s annual entry in the Call of Duty franchise manages to strike a healthy balance between its tried-and-true formula and enough novel concepts to avoid feeling stale.

Raptrzzz uploaded a Modern Warfare 2 clip to the game’s subreddit. The clip demonstrates a level of inventiveness that the game’s fans undoubtedly did not anticipate from the game’s developers at Infinity Ward. Raptrzzz demonstrates a hidden and hilarious synergy by equipping the recon drone field upgrade and then unlocking a sentry gun through a seven-kill streak (or equivalent scorestreak).

The recent discovery of combining a sentry gun and a recon drone is the latest in a long line of Call of Duty gameplay mechanics that are pushed to their absolute limits to gain an advantage. Despite numerous complaints, top-tier players continue to abuse Modern Warfare 2’s Superman exploit, which allows players to soar through the air by bouncing off of specific areas of the map. Modern Warfare 2 also has a problem with g-walking, in which players can move through the game in complete silence by constantly changing their standing position. However, for the time being, being aware of and making use of these exploits can mean the difference between a glorious victory and a crushing defeat

Out-of-the-box plays like Raptrzzz spice up the iconic shooting franchise and ultimately make it a more compelling experience overall, despite the fact that they are categorically unfair and will undoubtedly haunt matches in Modern Warfare for days to come. Having said that, you should feel sorry for the players who will have to fight this flying turret of doom.
